Sustainable Oceans

Sustainable Oceans is an annual student-run conference led by the Master of Marine Management students of the Marine Affairs Program at Dalhousie University. In its sixthyear, this is the only student-led oceans conference in Atlantic Canada.

Every year the conference focuses on how the ocean is effected by human actions, and how human actions affect the ocean. Each year varies from this concept with different themes, keynote speakers, and academic presentations. This year the overall theme for the conference is Seeing Blue: Envisioning our Future Oceans.
